Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the gastroenterology care team, ensuring the delivery of highquality care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Diagnose and manage patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including inflammatory bowel disease, liver diseases, and gastrointestinal cancers.
  • Perform endoscopic procedures and interventions as required for diagnosis and treatment.
  • Collaborate effectively with other medical specialists, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on gastrointestinal health and preventive measures.

Requirements:


  • GMC registration and recognized specialist qualification in Gastroenterology are essential.
  • Proven experience as a Gastroenterology Consultant, demonstrating excellence in clinical practice and leadership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for providing compassionate care and patient support.
  • A passion for continuous learning and staying uptodate with the latest advancements in gastroenterology.
