    O365 Security Architect - £625 Inside IR3- AccountingI currently have a long term contract role looking for a highly skilled and experienced M365 Security Architect to join my clients security operations team on a 6 month contract - likely to extend.

    You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security architectures within the Microsoft 365 (M365) environment. They will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our organization's data and systems.
    This role will be Inside IR35 and will be fully remote so please bear this in mind when applying.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Design, implement, and meticulously execute security architectures tailored for Microsoft 365 (M365) environments, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational security mandates.

    Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate security risks, devise effective mitigation strategies, and implement robust security controls across M365 services.

    Define and meticulously document security standards, policies, and procedures for M365 environments.
    Conduct thorough reviews of M365 configurations, applications, and infrastructure to pinpoint vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
    Offer guidance and support on M365 architecture-related security matters to internal stakeholders.
    Remain abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies pertinent to M365 environments.


    Key Skills and Qualifications:
    Extensive hands-on experience in designing and implementing security architectures within Microsoft 365 (M365) environments.
    Proficient in utilizing security tools and technologies, including Microsoft Purview, Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Microsoft Defender.

    Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27001.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    Demonstrated track record of successfully driving security initiatives and projects to completion within established timelines and budgetary constraints.
    SC100 and prerequisites are desirable.
