Great new instruction for a part time Administrator with a lovely company with their practice set in beautiful, semi-rural, Hythe.


This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with a love of administration and exceptional organisational skills, who perhaps has some basic/general bookkeeping experience.


Alternatively, if you have solid administrative experience without any knowledge of bookkeeping, providing you have the aptitude and desire to learn, our client is happy to provide training on basic bookkeeping, in order to cover sickness and holidays for example.


This is a really friendly, very well established professional company, very proud of its reputation and has approximately 15 employees.


Sal & Bens Package:

£24, £27,500.00 per annum, FTE.

Admin & Finance Duties will include but not limited to:
Handling all incoming telephone calls

General administrative duties including database management and liaising with clients

Client invoicing credit control and active debt chasing when necessary

Vehicle fleet management

Dealing with equipment hire

Preparing, submitting and checking monthly payroll for approximately 15 employees

Basic HR duties including sickness reporting annual leave management personnel files and recruitment

Purchasing office supplies IT equipment, PPE stationery etc

Booking accommodation and travel

Assisting in the preparation of P11D's

Bank, petty cash and Barclaycard reconciliation

Maintaining purchase ledger information

Supplier contract management, ie. phone system, mobile phone contracts, photocopier etc


Essential Skills we are seeking:

Extensive database experience and knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook

Solid understanding of business accounting

Exceptional customer service and organisational skills including attention to detail

Self-motivated, resourceful with an innate ability to problem solve when required

Discretion and able to respect confidentiality at all times

Attributes:

Either AAT qualified, qualified by experience or a desire to learn

Any accounting software knowledge

Working knowledge of MS Teams

Familiarity with business insurance
