    Description

    We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager, based in Shrewsbury.


    The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving growth for our organization.


    Responsibilities:
    Identify and research potential markets, industries, and clients to pursue new business opportunities.
    Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
    Lead the sales process from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing deals.

    Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to develop tailored solutions for clients and ensure smooth project execution.

    Manage, motivate and track the sales team to achieve their targets.
    Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats.
    Conduct market analysis and competitive research to inform business decisions and strategic initiatives.
    Prepare and present business proposals, tenders, presentations, and reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
    Monitor and track sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular updates and forecasts to management on a monthly basis.
    Continuously evaluate and optimize sales processes, strategies, and tactics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

    Requirements:


    Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles, with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

    Chemical or Automotive industry experience would be advantageous
    The successful candidate must be in the Shrewsbury office a minimum of 2 days a week.
    Strong business acumen and understanding of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and techniques.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and partners.
    Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex situations, identify opportunities, and develop innovative solutions.
    Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving business growth.
    Proactive and self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to cultivate and maintain valuable connections.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
    Willingness to travel as needed.
