    Information Technology Auditor - 3rd Line of Defence

    Location: London and the surrounding areas

    Role: Agile Talent Community Position - Future Assignments once Onboarding is Completed

    Engagement Route: Dependent Worker (PAYE) - Other options may be available upon request

    Rates: Negotiable on a per-project basis and dependent on experience level

    About the Service Line

    Grant Thornton's Technology Risk Services team (TRS) provides the advice necessary to help clients manage risk associated with their use of technology. Our professionals can deliver objective, value-added solutions that will enable clients to strengthen internal controls and governance processes, implement sound organisational strategies, increase technological capabilities and improve their operational efficiency. TRS is part of Grant Thornton's Business Risk Services ('BRS') department, who provide internal audit and risk advisory services to the FTSE 250, large and complex Corporates, international and major charities and not-for-profit organisations, and central government departments.

    Skills we're looking for

    • Experience working in an Internal Audit or IT Internal Audit/Technology Audit department
    • 3rd Line of Defence Experience is Essential
    • Delivering IT Audits from Planning to Reporting Phase
    • Exposure to Cyber Security, Data Privacy, ERP, Cloud and IT SOX
    • Good understanding of IT General Controls - for example: IT Risk and Governance, Identity and Access Management, IT Development, IT Change, and IT Disaster Recovery.
    • The minimum criteria you'll need is a professional qualification (ITIL, COBIT, PRINCE2, ACCA, etc.) with post-qualification experience
