Public Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on a Business Services/ Accounts Senior opportunity on behalf of a forward thinking and friendly firm of Chartered Accountants in Solihull.


This is a great opportunity for an individual who is ACCA/ ACA Part Qualified or Qualified, (AAT qualified also considered) from an experienced practice background looking for career progression, lots of flexibility, and a good work/ life balance.


The successful applicant will be working with a diverse client base and be responsible for the preparation of year-end statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, management accounts, attending client meetings, and mentoring junior staff.


Our client is offering an excellent remuneration and extensive benefits package, full study support (optional), gym membership, and flexible working hours.

Part-time or reduced working hours also considered.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Corporation tax computations
Preparation of management accounts
Review of VAT returns & bookkeeping
Training clients on accountancy software
Reviewing the work of junior staff
Dealing with client queries


Requirements:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified
Part Qualified/ AAT Qualified also considered
Good working knowledge of FRS102 reporting standards
Practice experience is essential
