An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Transformation Project Lead to join the Award winning WAVE team.


You will be a determined and self-motivated individual who will work alongside clinicians and leadership teams to support the identification of waste and QI ideas using a variety of benchmarking and QI tools and techniques.

Communication & Relationship building skills will be key to building trust with individuals and teams to drive the improvements for our patients.


The role is unique, varied, respected and successful applicants will be fully supported to develop their skills and qualifications further to enhance the quality of care we offer at NUH.

Offering expert knowledge to clinically led teams on Waste and QI identification to make our patient pathways better from an operational, patient risk and financial perspective is key.

Detailed project plans will need to worked up with specific focus on the SMART objectives to increase the chances of successful delivery

The role demands rapid turnaround of actions so improvements are tracked on a weekly basis


The role is varied and will lead on working with different clinical specialties alongside supporting other members of the team.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The postholder will work closely with a wide range of diverse colleagues from our divisions and corporate teams alongside external national programme leads such as Model Hospital & GIRFT to enable improvements to services to be identified, enacted through detailed action plans and monitored and reported up to Executive Level within the organisation

  • Proven ability to lead and manage change, service activity and development within a large and complex organisation
Desirable criteria

  • Able to demonstrate previous responsibility for ensuring an understanding of service improvement developments at national and local level
Communication & Relationship

  • Effective interpersonal skills at all levels and can quickly establish credibility
  • Welldeveloped leadership and motivational skills to facilitate working with multiple individuals from differing professional backgrounds across the organisation, system partners, and external national teams
  • Experience of / ability to influence and motivate teams and individuals at all levels of the organisation to adapt new ways of working to improve service delivery and management models
  • Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and targets and respond to rapidly changing demands

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
