This role sits within our Colleague Experience team. You'll influence and shape decisions about how we communicate with and engage colleagues throughout an upcoming period of transformation.

Taking ownership of the Society-wide colleague experience strategy for transformation, you'll gain buy-in to colleague communications plans, and work with internal stakeholders and third-party change experts to develop and deliver tactical solutions to communicate transformation changes outside of the Chief Information and Digital Office.

You're key to getting the rest of the Society informed and involved


Developing an excellent understanding of the Society's technology and change priorities is a must - you'll need to know how they fit in with the wider Society strategy, and how to engage people with our plans.

And you'll support our CIDO team with their communications and engagement needs too - you'll coach and advise them so they can deliver first-class communications across their functional teams.

The key to your success will be building a strong network and credibility with the relevant senior management teams and third-party change experts.

This is a senior role within the Colleague Experience function.

So as well as your work with CIDO, you'll lead our communications specialists to support their development, our broad channel management and measurement priorities.

About You:

***We're looking for someone who has:
  • Lots of energy, enthusiasm and ambition
  • A clear understanding of communication and change management principles
  • Strong communication and planning skills
  • Experience using a variety of communications channels, including video and internal social media
  • Experience of line management, with a focus and passion for helping colleagues develop their career journeys
  • The ability to coach others on communications skills
  • A collaborative approach to work, with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders and thirdparty change experts across the Society
  • Experience in change communications, to help you develop comprehensive plans and translate complex information into engaging communications
