    Payroll Liaison Officer | Bridgnorth | Office Based | Permanent

    Fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business in Bridgnorth, who are looking to recruit an individual to manage their TMS system in order to provide time and attendance information to the outsourced payroll provider.

    The Company

    Seymour John are recruiting exclusively on behalf of a well-established business, based in Bridgnorth, who are looking to strengthen their finance team with the appointment of a TMS and Outsourced Payroll Liaison Officer

    The Opportunities

    Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

    • Reviewing the TMS system for anomalies prior to completing schedules for the outsourced payroll provider
    • Managing absence information including Statutory Sick pay rules and rates, and the application of the company sick pay rules
    • On a regular basis, refer errors or omissions from TMS back to Managers to ensure TMS is accurate, and errors are not recurring
    • Liaising with HR to ensure that new starter information is correctly uploaded direct into the outsourced payroll providers software
    • In addition to time information, there will be other areas that will require information to be sent to the outsourced payroll provider, e.g. Pension information re opt outs, contribution rates etc.

    Personal Profile

    We are looking to speak with candidates who have a good understanding of the payroll process along with strong knowledge of SSP/SMP/SPP. You must have good Excel skills and be comfortable communicating effectively with others whilst working to tight deadlines.
