We are looking for an experienced Procurement/Purchasing Assistant to work for an engineering company out of their depot in Glasgow.
This role is a 6 month initial contract with possible extension and has an attractive rate (Ph) of £25.
23 PAYE (Inside IR35)The role is working a 35 hour week Monday to Friday on Days
Applications are encouraged from those within the rail or engineering industries however others will still be considered
Tracking deliveries and updating order records (e.g. dates)
Ensure all suppliers meet company's minimum required specification on acceptable material quality, especially with safety critical parts
Recognise risk and be able to pre-empt mitigate & find resolution of.
IT skills in Microsoft Office and other applications used for stock management
Successful candidates will be required to pass a Medical D&A prior to commencing any work
