Description
We have excellent contract opportunities for Mechanical fitters to work within a nuclear fabrication facility based in the West Midlands.
We offer 12 hour shifts paying £30.00 per hour (Monday to Thursday). Overtime paid at £40.We also provide a lodging allowance of £50 per day for travelling contractors. (As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the fitting and assembly of mechanical components into sub-assemblies, and the final assembly build of bespoke process plant and equipment.
Installation, fitting, stripping & correct application of bearings / keys / seals / bushes / sleeves / blocks / gears / dowelling / pegs / split pins / tab washers /seals, circlips & O-rings.
Dismantling and strip down of sub assembly components and plant to required quality levels and standards.
Candidates with IPAF /PASMA, harness, forklift, basic slinging /signalling and lifting experience are desirable.
