Then this role is for you. My client is looking for a proactive, personable, organised, go getter who is ready to get stuck in and learn the tricks of the trade.

    Day to day – you will be trained on everything

    • Supporting the senior project manager with tasks including organisation of client events - guest lists, invitations, venues, catering, budget management, client liaison and helping to reach their carbon emission targets
    • General office management, meeting guests, organising breakfasts, liaising with landlords, stationery & supplies, helping with magazine distribution
    • Assisting the commercial team with client and market research, research for sales pitches and presentations, client liaison and follow up, copy chasing for print, inserts and digital campaigns
    • Management of single-issue orders and subscriber queries
    • Lead on organising staff social events

    Candidate experience / qualities

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills
    • Confident, pro-active, happy to muck in, hard-working, they like people who've worked in outgoing roles such as hospitality and events
    • Ability to remain effective when working under pressure
    • A driven and optimistic team player
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Honesty, integrity and reliability
    • Planning and organisation
    • Good time management
    • Interest in publishing, media, sustainability is a real plus
