    Project Manager - 2 Years Fixed Term Contract

    Grade H, salary - £43, to £50,

    Staffordshire Police have an exciting opportunity on a 2 years fixed term contract for an experienced and enthusiastic Project Manager who has a proven track record of successfully delivering and embedding projects on time, within scope and within budget to help us deliver our policing vision and the force's change portfolio.

    Working within the Strategic Change Team/ Change Management Office you will lead change throughout the project life cycle, so having an understanding and experience of stakeholder management, scoping, planning, risk management and ensuring the project delivers the expected outcomes and benefits is key to the role.

    You do not need to be a subject matter expert; your knowledge, experience and application of different methodologies will be sufficient as you will be working with a team of specialists, and you will be required to establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues across the force.

    As a project manager you will be managing the project on a day-to-day basis, including project definition and planning, comms and stakeholder management, managing time, cost, and quality; ensuring identification of benefits and business readiness requirements.

    Excellent communication and organisational skills are vital, along with the enthusiasm to embrace an ever changing and challenging environment, as policing is now changing at its fastest ever pace in difficult and challenging times.
