    Job Description

    Within the area of operation, the Power Tool Multi Skilled Technician will:

  • Diagnose and repair the complete range of Bosch Power Tools.
  • Work to national and EU laws and regulations in regard to the testing and repairing of products.
  • Achieve defined turnaround targets from a customer perspective.
  • Achieve defined productivity targets from an internal view.
  • Accurately entering data into repair system.
  • Provide cover for other team members in the Service Centre and Technical support when required.
  • Reporting back to the Manager and Quality departments on any quality concerns.
  • Occasionally processing of spare parts into the local warehouse and directly to technicians.
  • Arrange the return of unused spare parts back to the central warehouse.
  • Spare parts planning.
  • Service training for internal and external customers.
  • Qualifications

    The job holder should hold the following knowledge and skills:

  • PC Literate – SAP and Microsoft Access.
  • Electrically and mechanically competent.
  • Have both excellent application and technical knowledge of the products returned for repair.
  • Look to achieve first time resolution on returned products.
  • Work in a systematic and tidy way to achieve pre-defined targets.
  • Be aware of all law and regulations required in the repair of the various products.
  • Assist in all aspects of the business as and when it is required.
