Our Chassis and Motion Control Systems department is at the forefront of this mission, developing cutting-edge control systems and software designs for both current and future vehicles. As part of the AAD Motion Control team, we're shaping the future of automated driving by developing advanced control systems for the next generation of vehicle electrical architectures.

    We are currently seeking a talented and driven Product Owner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll take on the responsibility of project leadership in vehicle integration and calibration. You'll play a pivotal role in gaining a deep understanding of how new electrical architectures influence control functions, thereby enabling vehicle calibration and integration.

    Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Take ownership of squad road map plans and develop a comprehensive vehicle development plan.
  • Provide regular and insightful reports to department and stakeholder management reviews.
  • Facilitate your product squad in focusing on creating high-value product increments.
  • Lead the delivery and integration of the Assisted and Automated Driving (AAD) Motion Control system on early vehicle prototypes.
  • Generate technical evidence to demonstrate that motion systems meet JLR standards and system performance requirements.
  • WHAT YOU'LL NEED

    Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrate expert-level project management and leadership skills, particularly in working with large multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Experience of Model Based software delivery for safety critical systems in accordance with a quality management process.
  • Possess a solid understanding of vehicle network communications, ECUs, and electronics.
  • Have hands-on experience in calibration delivery of complex system attributes at the vehicle level.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to various audiences and objectives.
