Fire Alarm Engineer - £30k-£34k - Birmingham

Our client who are a leading Specialist Building and Maintenance Contractor based in Wolverhampton have an exciting opportunity for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join their team.

Will be working on various mental health organisation sites across Birmingham.

Main purpose of the role:

Service, maintenance and testing on systems such as Gent, Morley, Advanced, Protec, Kentec etc.
Emergency light testing, fire alarms, cctv, intruder and door access control systems
Delivering maintenance work and internal refurbishment on time and to budget
Provide first and immediate response to fault finding
Ensure prevention of major damage that could result in extensive costs and minimise reactive intervention
Ensuring that all works are carried out with due regard to statutory regulations, current standards and company quality assurance procedures
Problem solving site issues as and when they occur
Early identification and rectification of any defective works within the contract timescales
On call rota roughly 1 in 14 (very infrequent call outs)

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Experienced on alarm systems such as Gent, Morley, Advanced, Protec, Kentec
Experience on CCTV, Intruder & Access Control would be a bonus
Verifiable evidence of the successful delivery of similar refurbishment schemes / works
Confident communicator and good clientfacing skills
Evidence of successfully outputs and levels of productivity
