    Stellantis has a rich portfolio of iconic automotive brands: This role is based at the Vauxhall Motors Manufacturing Plant in Luton, UK.

    There are nearly 1,500 employees based at the site building a light commercial vehicle under the Citroën, Peugeot, Fiat, Opel, and Vauxhall badges.

    It is a fast paced, high volume site working across 3 shifts and producing 2,500 vans a week for the end customer.

    Supply chain is a crucial and fast paced department within the Luton Manufacturing Plant who have authority for the below:
    the planification of the production for the entire plant,
    the procurement of all the parts required for the build,
    the storage of all the parts inside the plant,
    the delivery of the material lineside in the body shop and general assembly

    the organization of the transport of all the parts and the transport for the return of empty packaging the management of the IT systems linked with production.

    This is a central role in the plant covering all aspects of the plant's life and in liaison with the other departments.

    Supply chain operating modes are evolving constantly towards a more flexible and cost efficient way.

    Significant changes are expected in 2024 with the introduction of new information system for transport, for packaging, for material handling.

    The candidate would be a part of the supply chain engineering team who oversees studying and implementing all these exciting changes
    The Supply Chain undergraduate will have the opportunity to be involved in the below projects and work tasks:

    Want To Be projects:
    review the WTB ideas and where possible identify the costs and potential payback periods.
    RPM is a new Stellantis system for managing plastic boxes (50% of parts arrive in small plastic boxes).

    The candidate will be involved in all aspects of the work of supply chain engineering, will work with the supply chain and production IT systems, will be regularly on the shop floor to guarantee the correct implementation of ideas and liaising with the other units.

    It will give him a broad view of the entire supply chain but also an excellent understanding of all the operations within a car assembly plant as well as some practical experience in the field.

    Good Project Planning & Project Management Skills
    Strong data analysis skills. Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analysis and summarizing information and trends leading to solid action planning
