    This role is a leadership position within the Customer & International team. This is a high-profile team that leads customer propositions across all segments and supports and delivers strategic growth initiatives, tasks and deliverables from across WPB (Wealth and Personal Banking)

    In this role you will:

  • Design and deliver World Class Propositions, which meet the needs of our customers and sets us apart from the competition
  • Build excellent relationships with UK and Group stakeholders to identify the market opportunity, our right to win and key risks and priorities in the implementation of revenue and customer advocacy opportunities.
  • Help drive the alignment of proposition enhancement runways and contact strategies planned across HSBC UK distribution channels to ensure that the organisation unilaterally pivots towards customer.
  • Bring together internal and external insights that provide a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and trends, as well as competitor offerings.
  • Proactively support Senior management in driving the WPB Group Segment Strategy, for the segment(s) you'll be leading/contributing to, including performance and integration within the UK WPB business
  • Requirements

    To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Have relevant direct experience of designing propositions in the UK and/or internationally, preferably in the Financial Services space
  • Have a successful track record of leading, delivering and managing a number of complex projects and/or programmes, utilising appropriate techniques and tools to ensure and measure success
  • Possess a clear understanding of financial budgets/statements/models, with direct experience of analysing data effectively for planning, forecasting, reporting and building business cases. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Office is essential
  • Experience working in relevant environment/s, Retail banking/ Premier banking/ Wealth Management/ Personal Banking/ Employee Banking Solutions / International/ Private Banking
  • Be capable of leading interactions with a large, globally diverse group of individuals at varying levels, as well as the skills and confidence to direct large numbers of non-reporting teams with influence to deliver strategy.
  • This role is based in Birmingham, although other locations will be considered.
