Store Manager required - 26k p/a - BristolFranchise branded convenience store - Instore bakery and retail sale of alcohol
We are looking for a store manager to take ownership of the store to represent and promote the brand. Set consistently high standards throughout the store.
To have a hands-on approach and the ability to drive sales and footfall by motivating and coaching your team. Be accountable for all aspects of store performance and controlling costs. To excel in great customer service and promote a reputation for highquality fresh food at a great price.
To manage the store and ensure it trades in accordance to the operating hours, ensuring it is staffed to meet the needs of the business within the store budget
To take cash and card payments for fuel and goods and be vigilant in checking for counterfeit notes and fraudulent cards
To assist in the operation of food to go and ensure that all aspects of food hygiene are adhered to
Responsible for implementing and delivering brand standards at all times
Lead by example ensuring that excellent customer service is delivered at all times
To act upon financial performance data to ensure the store is running efficiently and profitably by controlling costs, waste, wages and meeting KPIs
The implantation company policies and procedures to minimise stock losses, ensuring regular stock takes are carried out.
To prevent mínimal cash loss by managing bad debt and till shorts
Manage stock orders and deliveries ensuring that all shortages / damages are reported within the correct time frame and manage stock holding to the correct levels
Build sales by ensuring maximum product availability,effective merchandising and promotions throughout the store
To implement and ensure that health and food safety standards are adhered as per company procedure
Responsible for ensuring that all colleagues are trained to the correct level for their job role
To ensure that all sales Assistants are trained to responsible persons level prior to any lone working
To be the store DPS and implement the training and authorisation of the sale of alcohol
Organise and arrange staff rotas in a timely manner
Be responsible for staff members holidays ensuring that all holidays are taken within the correct time frame and do not exceed their entitlement
To assist in interviewing, recruitment, coaching and development of colleagues
To effectively manage colleagues through disciplinary, absence and grievance procedures
The accurate submission of colleague's monthly payroll ensuring that any shortages are deducted and no hours overclaimed
To ensure all accidents and incidents are reported as per company procedure
Ensure compliance to health and safety policy
