Description
We've got a great newly created Finance role that would be ideal for anyone looking to demonstrate their full potential and be a key part of a growing organisation.
What will you be doing?
The Commercial Finance Manager will act as the Finance Business Partner for 2 of our key Group businesses – Innovate Awarding (a leading End Point Assessment & Qualification exam business) and Skilltech (a growing software house with its market leading leading EPApro product). You will be in regular contact with the Directors of both businesses and will report directly to the Group CFO. A critical element of the role is the regular output for month end accounts, the annual budget and periodic forecasts but plenty of work will be dynamic in nature. The business partnering aspect of the role is likely to take up about 50% of your time.
In addition, you will provide commercial finance support to the wider Group, particularly with regards to developing pricing models to ensure we can take advantage of market opportunities for new products and services that we are developing as part of our growth strategy. You will also have a role in reviewing key customer and supplier contracts, ensuring that risk is properly managed.
This will be a broad, flexible role and enable you to add real value to the business.
You'll be working not only within Finance, but supporting the operational and support functions, senior and executive management teams and building relationships across the business. The role will suit an individual with strong inter personal skills and a willingness to get out into the business operations. The ability to prioritise tasks and balance your workload will be required, but the most important attribute is someone keen to learn and eager to get the job done. Full training, induction and ongoing support will be provided
