- Ensuring the effective use of the finance software Sage across the company
- Preparation of year end accounts
- Daily update of cash flow reconciliation for distribution to Directors
- Maintaining the integrity of the VAT return (quarterly and submission to HMRC)
- Bank reconciliation of all bank accounts
- Credit control - chasing of outstanding sales invoices and allocation of payments in Sage
- Provision of monthly payroll information for preparation of payslips and pension calculations by external accountants and inclusion of information in Sage
- Preparation of ONS reports
- Full responsibility for paperwork, legal requirements, HMRC requirements, etc. for business.
