Lead Python Engineer (£100k)

Enso is delighted to be working with a growing software house in Belfast to recruit for a Lead Python Engineer for their team in Belfast.

If you have strong hands on software engineering experience combined with technical and team leadership experience, this could be the role for you

The role

development across the full stack: front end, middle tier, and data tier.
code for adherence to standards and suitability for purpose.
new technologies quickly and teaching them to others.
with AWS services, containerization technology, message queues, and relational databases.
those services and APIs in Python to integrate various AWS services and 3rd-party APIs.
Python, SQL, and other languages to integrate data storage technologies like Postgres
in backlog refinement and sprint planning to help developers translate business and technical requirements into increments of value.
developers including establishing and tracking goals.
performance reviews, assigning raises and bonuses, and addressing disciplinary matters as needed.
developer hiring for your team including writing job descriptions, triaging CVs, and conducting interviews.

Experience Required

Stack Software Engineering experience with: Python, React, Typescript, AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL
leadership experience with: software architecture, project and product delivery
leadership experience with: managing, mentoring and growing software teams
