We're currently looking for people just like you to join our Corporate Benefits team as an Employee Benefits Specialist, looking after Healthcare Admin.


So, what will you be doing, I hear you ask? This role is central to the continued growth and success of our broking team.

You will need to be able to multi-task like the best of them, prioritise your work on a daily basis and ensure that communication is maintained with providers, clients, and internal stakeholders at all times, as well as

  • Understand and work within Corporate Benefits Compliance procedures at all times
  • Uphold Corporate Benefits 'Treating Customers Fairly' ethics in all dealings with clients
  • Ensure Benefex data protection policy is always adhered to
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Benefex systems and processes
  • Maintain the security of the premises and the data held within it and to ensure that any data processed is completed in secure environment in accordance with the Information Security Policy and associated documents

Invoicing and Accounts:


  • Request deposit premiums, reconcile accounts
  • Chase premiums within agreed deadlines

Underwriting:


  • Liaise with provider and client to identify and manage underwriting requirements

Claims:


  • Death claims processing (Group Life)
  • Disability Claims (Income Protection, Critical Illness)

Market Reviews:


  • Request quotations
  • Chase insurers for terms
  • Draft broking reports for Consultants

Other Responsibilities:


  • Ensure all scheme documentation in place for new business and renewals
  • Ensure that Corporate Benefits Trackers are kept up to date
  • Request/check/issue policy documents
  • Ensure scheme specifications are kept up to date
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Absolute must-haves for the role:


  • Minimum 1year administration experience dealing within an IFA, Employee Benefit Consultancy, or provider environment.
  • Team player
  • Able to use initiative
  • Adaptable
  • Desire to learn and develop
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Good Analytical skills
  • Good excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • First class time management skills able to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills will be liaising with both providers and clients

Even better if you have knowledge of
(but not essential):

  • GR1 and/or IF7 and desire to progress with professional qualifications
  • Experience dealing with large corporate schemes
  • Group Risk Schemes (Group Life, Income Protection, Critical Illness)
  • Healthcare (Group PMI, Health Cash Plans)
