The Company


MTrec Recruitment are currently recruiting Machine Production Operatives for a prestigious company in the Gateshead area on a full-time basis.

Experience in a production environment is advantageous but not essential.


The Role

  • Daily meetings with the team leader or supervisor
  • Picking and packing of products
  • Using hand tools to take off excess material from products when required
  • Running machinery assisting with the overall production process
  • Quality inspection of a range of components
  • Maintain the company's health & safety standards at all times.
  • Overseeing machinery to ensure the process is running correctly
  • Previous experience in a fastpaced production environment would be advantageous.
  • A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job.
  • Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary.

The Hours

  • This position requires you to work a twoshift pattern Monday to Friday:


  • Days shift

  • 7:00am
  • 15:10pm
  • Back Shift 15:00pm 23:10pm
  • Night Shift 23:00pm 7:10am

The Benefits

  • All positions lead to a permanent contract after a successful probation period, up to 12 weeks probation.

The Pay

  • Dayshift: £ 9.50
  • Backshift: £10.07
  • Nightshift: £10.64
