As a world leader in Camera systems, our client is looking for a confident, Stores Person.

The business, who manufacture and maintain special purpose electronic systems, offer a wide range of solutions for high profile businesses across the UK.

Although a small division, they certainly pack a punch Shipping their products worldwide, they havetheir headquarters in Japan with offices in UK, China, and the U.S.

As a Stores Person, you will primarily be responsible for managing products and components in and out of stores, setting up parts kits for production staff and conducting stock checks.

The equipment can occasionally be heavy (up to 30 kilos) but not too often that heavy.

However you will need to be an active, energetic and enthusiastic person, able to work well in a production team of 10 people.

Stores Person Requirements:

Previous experience of kitting and picking kits / parts according to BOM's and kit lists is essential
Knowledge of a CRM/MRP or similar internal databases
Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel & excellent communication skills
Must have some experience in Electronics parts.

Stores Person Responsibilities:

Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
Liaising with Purchasing Dept about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
Updating inventory management systems regularly.
Packing units after testing and preparing goods for shipping.
Organising and kitting kits goods from the store to the department that requires it.
Record inward bound goods, inspect and verify quality and place into appropriate location
Book materials in to the system and make sure they're stored in the correct place
Keep stores and working areas safe and tidy at all times

This will have a 1 stage interview process as a F2F onsite interview, where you will meet the team and see the premises, should you be selected on your CV merits.
