    The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.

    The Southfield Trust is embarking on a new venture and we are offering exciting opportunities across our excellent special school multi-academy trust. The Trust currently has four schools, located across six, distinct school sites. We have recently expanded to include a new, purpose built special school, Summerdown School. All of our schools are based in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

    The opening of Summerdown School has created a wide range of interesting and motivating posts across every school in The Southfield Trust. The Southfield Trust would like to appoint a committed and inspirational classroom teacher with SEN experience. The Southfield Trust delivers high quality for pupils with a range of significant complex needs including autism and medical needs.

    The paid hours of work are 32.5 (full-time hours).

    The salary range is from £30,000 - £41,333 (Main Pay Scale) plus an SEN Allowance of £2,539 per annum.
