Senior Engineer
Hybrid Role - 2 days WFH, 3 days office ST5 1BL /on site based
Rate : 32.50 Umbrella
Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week

6 month contract , with the possibility of an extension .

Senior Engineer required for a Large Local Authority , Main Purpose of Job:

To lead with the support in all car parking matters and undertake key engineering roles.

Main Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities

To manage all aspects of building, structures and engineering property-related matters, including scheme design, drawings, specification, contract administration and site supervision.

To help to manage the Civil Parking Enforcement Service.
To undertake routine CCTV system checks, maintenance and ad hoc requests and problems as may be required.
To carry out the street naming and property numbering functions for all new developments and any requests for changes.
To manage requests for all utility information.
To lead on the maintenance/management of the car parks and street/footpath lighting.

To assist with all aspects of Civil Contingencies (Emergency Planning) including any specific role as may be allocated, including emergency situations.

To undertake surveys of land and structures as appropriate.
Take part in the Council's out of hours emergency call out service
To lead on the management of the bus station including stand allocations.
