Education World are recruiting for a primary school in Sunderland who require a Teaching Assistant for an immediate start.

The role is to work on a one to one basis with a child in the Year 5 class who has social, emotional needs and presents challenging behaviour.

Previous experience in a similar role would be highly beneficial but not essential as the school are mainly looking for someone with the right personality and resilience to working with challenging behaviours.

You will be working with the child until the end of the academic year.

THE ROLE:


  • Full time (8:303:30, Mon-Fri).
  • 1:1 supporting a child in Year SEMH & Challenging Behaviour.
  • ASAP start.
- £75-£85 per day.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:


  • Have strategies to manage challenging behaviour.
  • Have experience working with SEMH.
  • Must have an enhanced DBS, registered on the update service.
  • Be available for an immediate start and can commit until the end of the academic year.
