Expleo are working with a major Automotive Manufacturer in the UK, who are looking to recruit an Automotive Chassis Engineer with a background in Mechatronic's, to join their team on a contract basis.

The role is based within a major Automotive Research and Development facility in Bedfordshire.

The Chassis Engineer will primarily be responsible for:

• Managing application of global design
• Managing suppliers
• Meeting regulation and safety performance
• Benchmarking and trend analysis
• Managing and reporting test validation, cost performance and part quality / reliability

To be considered for the Automotive Chassis Engineer role, you will have the following experience and skills:

• Ideally Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
• Automotive design and development experience
• Knowledge of Steering System, Brake Modulation and Electric Booster
• Understanding of Manufacturing processes and the development process for Steering and Brake modulation / electric booster
• Experience of investigating and resolving software logic related concerns within Automotive
• Knowledge and practical experience of developing components / systems used in a safety related automotive environment

You are required to hold a valid driving licence and must be willing to travel globally when required.
