    Description

    We are a boutique M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) and Transformation Consultancy based in London. Our team works with broad range of clients in Life Sciences, FMCG and infrastructure sectors. In our Transformation practice, we focus on improving the effectiveness, efficiency and bottom-line of businesses. Our team works from strategy through to implementation of programs to grow revenue, reduce costs and create value for our clients.

    We are looking for a Management Consultant to strengthen our strategic capabilities. The preferred candidate will have prior consulting experience and strong analytical and presentation skills. An undergraduate degree is required and a graduate degree is preferred. To be successful in this role, you will use data analysis, financial modeling, presentation and communication skills to enable strategic decisions and deliver meaningful change.

    The role is hybrid (2-3 days/week in the office in London) and may require some travel across Europe.

    London based full-time permanent hires only.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Execute and deliver on key industry and market analyses including growth projections and trends, supply and demand, and economic and financial analysis and modelling
    • Conduct portfolio analysis, market landscaping and segmentation, competitor profiling, strategic capability assessment, commercial analysis (sales, customer segmentation, go-to-market, pricing etc)
    • Evaluate Where to Play and How to Win
    • Translate information and analyses into actionable insights and meaningful recommendations to inform senior leadership's strategic business decisions
    • Generate simple yet visually appealing collateral necessary for key decision-making activities (e.g. strategy sessions, Board and Senior LT meetings).
    • Be responsible for day-to-day project management, Track and share progress, risks, and issues and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.
    • Manage stakeholders and build trusted relationships at all levels

    Skills, qualifications, experience

    • Experience in Strategy or M&A consulting in a management consulting firm for 5+ years
    • Bachelor's degree in a related subject – e.g. Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics etc.
    • MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
    • Strategic mindset with an ability to think broadly yet critically
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and good business acumen
    • Resourceful at finding data and information for analysis
    • Experienced with executing a broad range of data, modelling and analytical concepts and methodologies, including: Market sizing, Competitive analysis, Benchmarking, Financial modeling and Valuation, Financial statement analysis, Portfolio review, Customer segmentation and analysis and primary research
    • Able to synthesize large amounts of information from diverse sources to problem solve, identify trends, insights and issues and recommend solutions
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and balance priorities
    • High EQ with strong verbal and written communication skills, including story boarding and developing high quality materials
    • Comfortable communicating with, and presenting to clients at all levels
    • Expert in Microsoft Excel (including financial modelling) and PowerPoint
