Trade Counter/Sales Assistant

Salary & Benefits:

• £29,100 to £32,000 per annum negotiable, depending on experience

They are looking for an energetic branch assistant to join their team in St Austell. This role offers an exciting opportunity to progress within the business and to be a part of their continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serving customers over a busy trade counter
• Answering and dealing with incoming telephone calls
• Processing telephone orders and quotations
• Warehouse duties
• Occasional customer deliveries
• General administration duties
• Building, maintaining and enhancing excellent customer relationships to encourage repeat business

Person:

• You must have a proven track record of working in sales within the electrical wholesale industry with good electrical product knowledge
• You must hold a full UK driving licence
• Dynamic with a good sense of humour and a passion for achievement and success
• You must be confident, reliable and punctual, be self-motivated and enthusiastic with a solid work ethic and a "can do" attitude whilst being a team player who enjoys a busy and productive working environment
• A motivational and dynamic person with attention to detail and pride in their work
• A positive and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work well independently and in a small team
• Flexible and adaptive personality

Location: St Austell, Cornwall

Hours: 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday & 8:00am to 12:00pm Saturday rota (paid overtime)
