A prestigious membership organisation is looking to recruit a Payroll Support Officer to contribute to their payroll function, processing payments to over 1000 staff and making deductions including pension contributions and childcare vouchers.


Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Support Officer:

  • Process all transactions to agreed timetable.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly payments to Inland Revenue.
  • Support the preparation of monthly and annual pension contribution schedules to be submitted to the scheme administrators.
  • Reconcile payroll control accounts in conjunction with the Finance team.
  • Provide information for audits.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:


  • Educated to a good general standard.
  • Extensive experience of working in busy payroll department, assisting with reconciliation responsibilities.
  • Excellent numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Excel and database software.

Salary and Details:

- c£20 per hour.

  • Fulltime, temporary placement with an immediate start and due to last for 3 months.
  • Based in Central London, with provision for remote working.
