    About the roles

    Our graduate and undergraduate roles cover an array of areas, including Design and Development, Certification and Technical Publication Engineering roles. If you have a passion and an interest in the aerospace/automotive sectors then we would love to hear from you

    YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBLITLIES:

    In your role as our Graduate/Undergraduate Engineer, you will:

    • be involved in the design and development of our aircraft seat components, using SolidWorks CAD and working with suppliers and manufacturing engineering on design for manufacture and assembly.
    • be part of the team to work out how to certify the aircraft seat, to influence the design to help ensure it will be compliant to the regulations and to Airbus' requirements.
    • be part of a team working on the customization of the seat for a number of different types of aircraft to deliver for numerous exciting customer projects.
    • help achieve the overall business objectives by ensuring the design, development, certification, and delivery of safe and reliable products that meet out targets and that are on time and to cost.
    • ensure timely completion of all airworthiness certification activities throughout the engineering lifecycle.
    • deliver work packages within the new product development function, achieving on time product delivery and compliance to specifications and customer requirements.
    • work closely with other Mirus functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective & efficient design and development, including Design for Manufacture & Assembly, cost, weight, reliability and performance.

    About you

    To help Mirus continue our journey of growth, you will bring a passion for aerospace or automotive design and engineering, along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:

    • Engineering degree, Automotive or Aerospace degree. Preferably MEng, 2:1 minimum
    • extracurricular experience or hobby that is engineering related

    Desirable:

    • time management (prioritisation and task management) and the ability to engage externally with third-party suppliers
    • aerospace design development cycles and program management

    Personal skills / attributes:

    • passion for design and engineering within aerospace or automotive industries
    • and enthusiasm to engineer world class products
    • thinking and problem solving
