    Ensure that Revalue projects meet exceptional standards of environmental and social integrity;

    The Stakeholder Specialist will offer expertise in assessing safeguard risks and developing appropriate management frameworks, conducting social impact assessments, and leading participatory consultation processes.

    They will have experience working with government bodies, local communities, international organisations and other stakeholders in developing countries.
    Work with the regional teams and project proponents to integrate relevant SDGs into project design.
    Develop approaches to empowering marginalised and vulnerable communities in project design and implementation.

    Develop Revalue's approach to safeguard development for our projects and programs, including how to apply quantifiable mertrices under the CCB.

    Leverage professional networks to build and maintain relationships with current and prospective NBS projects in the portfolio.
    Position Revalue to be at the cutting edge of advancements in the field.
    Quality project implementation and oversight:
    Work with project partners to develop community baselines and monitor approaches.
    Provide direction and advisory support to regional staff and project partners to ensure accountability for project excellence.

    Lead quality assessment and control of projects against high integrity standards by developing quality assurance and control procedures and ensuring their implementation.

    Maintain high level of rigor on analyses, including close adherence to the latest best practices and recommendations from the international community.

    Building the capacity of Revalue staff and partners:

    Build the capacity of the Revalue team and project partners in informing, designing, interpreting and applying safeguards to our projects.

    Coordinate with regional staff and project proponents to ensure cooperation on cross-cutting issues and initiatives.

    Master's degree or PhD or a minimum of 7 years' experience in social sciences, climate change, working on safeguards in the land use sector or a related field.

    Experience in the development of AFOLU projects and/or programs in the voluntary and/or compliance carbon market (e.g., Excellent oral and written communication in English and another language (preference for Swahili, Spanish, Bahasa Indonesia, Portuguese or French).

    Experience in survey design (including sensitive information techniques).
    Evidence of applied ethics training.
    Ability and willingness to travel internationally.

    Evidence that you can work in remote teams, are a self-driver with a willingness to take initiative and committed to continuous improvement and high-performance within a complex and fast-growing sector.
