Workshop Supervisor

Salary - £32,500

Location:
Kettering
***Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Supervisor to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Kettering.

Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Workshop Supervisor to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.

You will be responsible for:

The role is responsible for supervising and supporting a team of five manufacturing high quality commercial timber play equipment.

Ensuring all incoming work is planned, managing the time and resources within the team and ensuring productivity is maximised and that deadlines are adhered to.

The role will be required to ensure that a safe working environment is maintained in line with the Company's Health & Safety policy.

Experience/Education:

Counterbalance Forklift License and or Combi Lift License
Experience at supervisory level
Experience of working with timber with good attention to detail
Experience of working within a factory or workshop
Strong skills to motivate and develop team members, enhancing performance
Positive attitude
Able to use initiative
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
