    Description

    Teaching Personnel are working alongside a number of schools within Essex who require Unqualified Teachers to join the school when planned and unplanned absences arise.

    Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for cover supervisors to work in excellent and good Ofsted rated secondary schools across Essex.

    The schools roughly have 1000 students aged between 11-16 years. A Cover Supervisor is in charge of the classroom management and makes sure that the pupils keep on task.

    They help the running of a school, by freeing up the regular qualified teaching staff to carry out essential marking, planning and preparation.

    This position is within a Secondary school and would need to be confident teaching Key Stage 3 and 4.

    This role requires school based experience as well as Maths and English at grade C/Level 4 and ideally a degree within education.

    Having good time allocation and effective planning.
    The pay is up to £350 per week, depending on experience.

    We are keen to hear from graduate candidates or candidates with behavioural management experience and a keen interest in working within Secondary Schools.

    You must be confident of your abilities within a classroom based environment and have the ability to build relationships with pupils and the other staff members.

    Work for this role often comes in on daily basis, so you will need to be flexible. However, if you are good the job is regular and it may even turn into a permanent position. Many people use the role of Cover Supervisor as a kick-start to a teaching career
