We currently have the pleasure of working with a well-established company in Blackburn who are the top of their field in providing a service to both residential and commercial clients throughout the whole of the UK.

The company is looking for an experienced Payroll Assistant to join their already stable team.

Please see the duties that would be expected of you in your new role Administration of the whole Time and Attendance process

  • National Minimum wage and National Living wage amendments
  • Exporting of data into sage
  • Preparation on monthly payroll including bonuses, new starters, leavers, pay increases, court orders and attachments, expenses, and pension contributions
  • CIS preparation
  • National insurance checks and amendments
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.
  • A Payroll qualification of Level 3 or a minimum of "2 years' experience working within a large company environment
  • A good standard of Education, preferably GCSE level
  • Will be a methodical thinker
  • Confident with Excel and the ability to input from a spreadsheet
  • Understands the need to prioritise
  • Confident communicator
  • Have attention to detail
