Unity Developer | EdTech | Augmented Reality | Manchester / Hybrid | Up to 48K

We are excited to be working with an innovative and engaging Ed Tech company, known for their expert-backed educational content combined with their immersive experiences and augmented reality.

They are looking for an experienced Unity Developer to join their development team and lead the development of a new desktop version of their immersive platform.

Role:

• Lead the development and design of the desktop version of their mobile platform, ensuring scalability and integration with existing web / mobile services
• Oversee the implementation of user interface designs, optimising for cross-platform compatibility and performance
• Coordinate with the design team to integrate assets, textures, and lighting, enhancing the visual appeal and user engagement.
• Facilitate prototype presentations and tech reviews with leadership

Essential experience:

• A minimum of 3 years commercial Unity / C# experience in industry
• A collaborative individual with good understanding of development software tools

Desirable:

• AWS and API knowledge
• Understanding on Unity Animator, tweening or GUI implementation
• Jira
• Perforce / Source Control or Git

Salary and benefits:

• £42,000 - £48,000
• Hybrid working (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in the office)
