    The Operations team underpins these new services, delivering essential systems and services across the infrastructure layer which provide the foundation for all IT services across the University.

    We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join the team and lead our network transformation into the vxlan model with Juniper Mist AI underpinning the service. Work with modern technology at an enterprise scale is a rare opportunity to learn and make a difference to the customers of the network

    You must have the following to be considered for the role:

  • Significant Experience in managing Juniper switching and routing
  • Experience in operating in an enterprise or campus environment
  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge of Network Access Control (NAC) products
  • Experience in working with enterprise WiFi
  • In addition you should be able to

  • Demonstrate how documentation fits into a service delivery model
  • Good communication skills, including presentation of technical issues for non-specialist audiences
