    Job Description

There's more to working in a trading firm than just a high salary.

Of course, the salary/compensation gets the headline, but the advanced technology, the world class engineers, and the open, collaborative environment are the real reasons to work here.

You're going to be coming into a technically world class team of security engineers, all who work directly with the business to understand requirements and make the business more secure. With billions of dollars traded every day, secure systems are the number one priority for a healthy business.

Once you're up and running and familiar with the systems, process, and wider team approach, you'll be working on end-to-end solutions, architecting, and developing all aspects of these systems, through to ensuring they're compliant. A lot is built internally, but there are still a number of third-party systems you'll need to secure and analyse to make sure they're secure.

Your ideas will be listened to, and you'll be given plenty of autonomy to prototype your own solutions for use within the business. There's limited red tape, which is why they consistently hire from big-tech and employee retention remains high.

In terms of your experience, you're going to need to have a wealth of information/cyber security experience. This will be backed up by a strong computer science background and strong programming ability. Go would be the preferred programming language, but it's not by any means essential. Strong Python scripting will be expected as well as a deep understanding on Windows and UNIX knowledge, especially around authentication systems.

That's why Kerberos experience across both Windows and UNIX would be the cherry on top of your experience.

You're going to be coming into an environment that's extremely challenging from a technical point of view and given the salary of up to £200,000 for the most experienced of candidates, you'll appreciate those challenges from day one. In return, you'll be treated extremely well in a beautiful office that has an onsite gym, a sauna, a doctor should you ever need one and breakfast and lunch provided daily. There are various other benefits to ensure your needs are taken care of.
