    Senior Civil Engineer


    Manpower are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil/Highway Technician to become a key member of our clients progressive infrastructure team.

    This position focuses on leading-edge projects within the Residential Highways sectors, where technical prowess and innovative thinking are prized.

    Role Overview

    As a Senior Civil/Highway Technician, you will be pivotal in shaping the technological backbone of our design projects.

    Your primary responsibilities will involve leading the production of sophisticated 3D models utilizing Civil 3D software, transforming conceptual drawings into detailed, actionable designs.

    You will coordinate the production of detailed drawings and specifications, applying your expert technical knowledge to ensure all projects align with industry standards and legislation.

    Daily Tasks

    Managing and verifying the quality of drawing productions.
    Collaborating closely with other design disciplines to integrate models, calculations, and sketches.

    Handling the upload and download of documents within our document management systems, ensuring compliance with BIM protocols and maintaining our high office drawing standards.

    Participating actively in project and technical meetings to provide insightful contributions based on your expertise.
    Conducting site inspections and producing detailed surveys as required, ensuring all projects meet our rigorous quality standards.

    Requirements

    Proficient in creating Civil 3D models, with a strong ability to extract sections and quantities for detailed analysis.
    Experienced in the use of CAD drawing, 3D modeling, and BIM coordination.

    Demonstrates a robust technical knowledge of relevant legislation, industry standards, and the Building Safety Act (experience with the latter is highly desirable but not essential).

    Background in residential sector is preferable.
    Capable of demonstrating commercial awareness with a clear understanding of time management and budget implications.
