    We are currently seeking an experienced Claims Executive to join our Clients Real Estate team within the Global Real Estate & Construction Division. This exciting opportunity is based in London, where their dedicated team delivers innovative insurance placements and risk management services for organizations in the real estate and construction sectors.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage claims from initiation to conclusion, ensuring effective communication with clients, insurers, loss adjusters, and other involved parties.
    • Provide expert advice on policy cover and necessary documentation for claim progression.
    • Negotiate with insurers to secure optimal and cost-effective settlements for clients.
    • Ensure realistic and appropriate reserves through negotiations with insurers.
    • Register and update claims on internal systems.
    • Attend internal and external meetings as required.
    • Report major or sensitive claims to the responsible Account Executive.
    • Understand and adhere to appropriate claims notification and investigation procedures for each class of insurance.
    • Document client-specific claim handling arrangements for internal purposes.
    • Contribute to insurer review meetings and actively develop relationships.
    • Build and maintain a network of client, insurer, lawyer, and loss adjuster contacts.
    • Provide requested management information.
    • Maintain records on internal systems and perform pro-active claims cleanses.
    • Manage a diary system for outstanding workload.
    • Prepare and maintain client claim experiences.
    • Undertake specific tasks directed by management, adhering to project plans and timescales.

    Key Skills & Competencies:

    • Excellent technical claims experience with strong knowledge of the London Market.
    • Thorough understanding of relevant classes of business (Real Estate, Property).
    • Ability to prepare and interpret claims experiences and analyses.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, insurers, and colleagues.
    • Willingness and ability to continuously develop knowledge through internal and external learning.
    • Strong time management skills, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation.
    • Understanding of regulatory controls and procedures.
    • Knowledge of ASSET and Microsoft Office.
    • CII qualifications would be advantageous.
