Description

Role Overview To ensure correct inventory holding and to service quires raised by clients and Panther by ensuring the successful control of the inventory through effective management.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carry out and complete daily counts as per plan.
  • Accurately record and adjusts to inventory records
- thoroughly investigate and understand stock movements on loss.

  • Support operatives when required with regards to stock discrepancies
  • Take full accountability for their own personal development, ensuring that they continually drive to improve their own performance through increased knowledge, skills, and awareness.

Key Outputs and Results

  • Ensure that deliveries are received and stored in the most efficient, accurate and effective manner.
  • Make sure that stock is checked and booked in correctly to ensure the prompt availability to be picked.
  • Assist the Shift Manager to maintain and revise the stock plan and slotting as required.
  • Ensure that the replenishment is efficient, accurate and productive, with all stock 100% prepared to pick by the picking team.
  • Assist the Storage Manager to organise and carry out client stock takes, and conduct follow up as required.
  • Assist the Storage Manager to ensure that site targets are met.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience within a storage environment
  • Working knowledge of storage environment
  • Strong communication skills at all levels, with the ability to appropriately challenge.
  • A confident problem solver, using initiative to resolve issues as they arise
