We are supporting our client in the recruitment of a talented Unity developer to join a new and exciting global product launch that promises to disrupt the learning and development market.
Company DescriptionOur client s is a team of teachers and linguists based in the London Area, United Kingdom.
Their mission is to enable primary school class teachers to teach a foreign language stress-free, regardless of their linguistic ability.
They have developed a comprehensive Scheme of Work and classroom resources that include interactive activities, worksheets, games, lesson plans, and teacher support notes.
With our resources, teachers do not need any linguistic expertise or planning to teach the foreign language of their choice.
We also provide full tracking and assessment tools aligned with the DfE Languages Programme of Study for KS2.
As part of their ongoing growth as a company, we are developing a new global game for language learning and development, and we are looking to expand our team.
This is a full-time Unity Developer role with Language Angels.
As a Unity Developer, your day-to-day tasks will involve mobile game development, augmented reality (AR), level design, and object-oriented programming (OOP).
You will be responsible for programming and implementing engaging and interactive educational games and activities using Unity. This is a hybrid role based in the London Area, with flexibility for some remote work.Qualifications
Mobile Game Development and Programming skills
Augmented Reality (AR) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) experience
Strong knowledge of Unity and game development principles
Experience in level design and creating interactive gameplay mechanics
Good problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field
Experience in educational game development is a plus
The role is Hybrid, and we'd expect initially 3 days a week in our North London office as we are at a key period in our product development and integrating with the team is vital for success.
