    Job Overview:

    As a part-time SEN Teacher in an LD and autism-focused school, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.

    Collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

    Key Responsibilities:


    Strategically plan and deliver differentiated lessons every Wednesday and Friday, addressing the varying needs of students on the autism spectrum.

    Develop and implement Education Care Plans (ECPs) for each student.
    Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes sensory awareness and accommodates individual learning styles.
    Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to students' education and well-being.
    Utilise effective communication strategies to engage with students and facilitate their social and emotional development.
    Work closely with parents and external professionals to provide ongoing support and feedback

    Qualifications and Experience:
    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a background in Special Education.
    Experience working with students on the autism spectrum.
    Knowledge of autism-specific teaching strategies and interventions.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
