- To conduct a range of audits; Internal Audits, GMP, and Quality audits ensuring standards and systems are working correctly.
- To ensure accurate checking of codes/dates/labels, sleeves and packaging etc and action any discrepancies identified to ensure accurate release by the QA department.
- Daily Quality stock check – to ensure that any stock issues/quality feedback is addressed with the Line Leaders and Managers.
- To carry out Glass and Brittle Plastic checks weekly.
- To communicate any technical or quality related issues with the QA Manager & Technical Manager in the form of daily handover emails.
- To ensure Health & Safety & HACCP requirements are met.
- To monitor product with regards to shelf life/quality and trials and document accordingly and in line with customer specifications.
- Always ensure you adhere to company procedures, policies and guidelines.
- Individual needs to be comfortable with lone working as the sole QA on site.
- Has experience in a similar role - QC or QA
- Computer literate with emails, excel and word
- Full driving licence
- E in English/Maths

Lincolnshire Herbs is one of the largest growers of fresh cut and living pot herbs in the UK and we have an opportunity for a full time QA to join our team based in Bourne, Lincs.
To work within cut production, auditing the products journey through production and closely monitoring paperwork conformance.Not responsible for the management of any individual, however are part of a small QA team and therefore needs to be an effective team player and capable of managing good working relationships.
