    Position Overview: As a Housekeeper within our care services facility, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all areas of the facility are kept clean, sanitized, and organized to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of resident rooms, common areas, dining areas, bathrooms, and other facility spaces according to established protocols and schedules.
    2. Laundry Services: Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and residents' personal clothing items as needed.
    3. Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies such as cleaning products, linens, and toiletries to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
    4. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and the spread of infections. Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.
    5. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members, including caregivers, nurses, and maintenance personnel, to support the overall well-being and comfort of residents.
    6. Customer Service: Provide friendly and courteous assistance to residents and their families, responding promptly to any requests or concerns related to housekeeping services.
    7. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, inventory usage, and any incidents or observations relevant to housekeeping duties.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably within a healthcare or residential care setting.
    • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards residents and their families.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and maintain cleanliness standards.
    • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certification in housekeeping or related field is a plus.

    Working Conditions:
