Trainee Stainless-Steel Metal Polisher.

Looking for a new Career in one of the busiest local industries?


Cooney South is based in Holton Heath just outside Poole and manufactures High-end Bespoke Stainless Steel and Aluminium Fabrications into to the Marine and Super Yacht Sectors.

The successful person will be motivated, enthusiastic and results driven. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure is essential. This is Job is
physically demanding, fast-moving and requires an
efficient hard-working approach with a passion for quality.


The position will include in-house training in every aspect of the polishing process with the aim to gain efficient techniques and skills in the polishing of Stainless-Steel components to a high standard.

This will cover the use of both fixed spindle and hand-held Polishing. The training will also include the use of a Grind master machine used for Pre-polish surface preparations.


The Marine industry is an increasingly busy sector so during busy times a flexible approach to additional hours through the week including Saturday mornings must be a consideration.

  • Basic hours of work will be Mondays to Fridays 07:00 15:30

Due to the location of the site, you would need your own transport.
