To support the provision of a high quality service to patients, visitors and staff within the Imaging Department.You will have the opportunity to assist the patients when they attend the imaging department. Rotating between X-ray, MRI and Ultrasound to assist the radiologists, radiographers and sonographers during the imaging procedures. This role involves managing patient care as well as performing administrative and support tasks.

To escort patients to changing cubicles, explain the need to undress and wear a gown, and when necessary give assistance.
To transport and care for patients both within and outside of the department.
To chaperone patients as and when necessary.
Assist radiographic staff with clinical tasks before, during and following radiographic examinations.
To carry out duties associated with the processing of patients' records.
To assist in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness of the environment and equipment. To support both domestic and facilities staff through undertaking specified cleaning and rubbish disposal duties.
