Sales Development Representative for a Cyber Security services company

Up to £30k base plus uncapped commission and benefits

Fareham/Home - 50/50

Purpose
As a client-facing professional, you must be experienced and at ease working at both director and colleague level. You will be adaptable and flexible in your work and have a positive attitude.


In return, you will be given the opportunity to work with a broad range of client organisations, alongside some of the best consultants in the security industry.

You will learn about cyber and information security issues; identify risks and introduce solutionsto these directly to our new logo prospects and existing customers.

You will be able to work with a high degree of autonomy whilst also working closely with the sales and marketing teams.


The role is hybrid; however, you will be expected to be in the office for up to 2/3 days per week (location - Hampshire and South East).

You will also attend new business meetings as part of ongoing development as well as sales and training meetings as directed.


Your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Attend exhibitions and networking events
  • Develop and manage leads in conjunction with sales teams
  • Document all processes and setup, to ensure a smoothrunning operation.
  • Run the company webchat to qualify prospects
  • Understand cybersecurity issues, risks & solutions
  • Sell cybersecurity consultancy, audit services, remedial solutions and Cyber Security as a Service
  • Work with Sales and Marketing colleagues to increase the visibility of Company products/services.
  • Effectively plan and own your own working day to ensure you sell at the best times for customers whilst achieving targets.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues; sharing knowledge to ensure a smoothrunning operation.

Person Specification

  • Worked in a similar telemarketing or customer experience role
  • Demonstrable track record of creating new logo leads.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • An ongoing desire to maintain a knowledge level at the forefront of cyber & information security.
  • An ambassador for the Company: confident; adaptable and resilient; and with a hunger and passion to deliver a worldclass experience for both our prospects and customers.
  • Highenergy, selfstarter as well as a collaborative team player.
  • Demonstrate exceptional planning and organisational skills.
  • Resident in the UK for the last 5 years, to obtain the required level of security clearance.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.

Information Security Duties and Responsibilities

As an Employee, you are responsible for:

  • Compliance with information security procedures including the maintenance of data confidentiality and data integrity;
  • Compliance with the company Data Protection guidelines when dealing with personal data;
  • The operational security of the information systems you use;
  • Compliance with the security requirements that are currently in force, and must also ensure that the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information they use is maintained to the highest standard.
